Cooperative Relationships between HU & Indonesian Universities

 On Wednesday, 24th of May 2018, Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, Rector of HU, discussed the relations between HU and Indonesian universities as part of the meeting held at the Indonesian Embassy in Salalah, Oman.

 He said: "Hadhramout and Indonesia have  joint scientific, intellectual and cultural relations started from the early 20th century, and today we are working together to renew them but in a modern form."

 Dr. Sultan Saabaruddin, Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy in Yemen, said: "Today, as we welcome Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, HU Rector at the Indonesian Embassy , we would like to recall the scientific, cultural, and commercial history between Indonesia and Hadhramout. Moreover, we are looking forward to opening the Indonesian pillar in HU, but we find the proposal of Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, in turning it into two pillars, one in Mukalla and the other in Seiyun, more useful to enhance the benefits and strengthen the relations of Indonesian universities and universities in Hadhramout."

 Open discussions were held between Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, and the Indonesian Embassy staff, on various aspects of developing the relations between HU and the Indonesian universities,as well as the agreement draft was signed between them, while its final version is going to be signed after getting the approval from the official Indonesian authorities.

Afterwards, gifts and souvenirs were exchanged between HU and the Embassy.
