One of our highest goals is to improve and promote community health and to pursue the highest standards of healthy living at the individual and community levels through targeted and effective action; In order to provide efficient and highly professional health services, primary health-care centers are the first option for providing a comprehensive, continuous and appropriate primary health service for all members of the community.
The University keens to keep pace with developments in the provision of health services, based on the results of research and studies in this filed, after learning about successful experiences in the provision of medical services to society at home and abroad, and based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization; The University intended to begin providing primary health care in accordance with international standards by introducing the concept of family medicine as the best means of achieving health for all; accordingly, the President of the University decided to establish the (Hadhramaut University Centre for Family Medicine) with a technical and administrative integrated health team; through an integrated system with the Family Medicine Centers of the Ministry of Health and Population at Hadhramaut Governorate
