Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Waledi, Under-Secretary of Public Health and Population Ministry for the Primary Health Care Sector, visited the Family Medicine Centre at the University and got to Know the health, treatment, medical and health care services provided by the Centre to the community. He was accompanied by Dr. Afaf Al-Shadli, General Director of the Centre, and Mr. Abdulrahman Ba-Shain , Deputy General Director at the Centre.
The Centre comprises: Family Medicine, Vaccinations, Laboratories, Emergency, Consultations, Pregnant Care , X-Ray, Delivery and minor -Operations Section, as well as specialist ophthalmology, Pediatric, Dental, Women and Maternity Clinics, Health Education and Training Hall.
In his turn, Under-Secretary of Public Health and Population Ministry praised all the services provided by the Centre for Society, which is one of the outstanding health centers in Hadhramaut and has an electronic system to assist in following up patients’ cases.
Dr. Afaf Al-Shadli, expressed her appreciation the efforts of the Office of the Ministry of Health – Hadhramout Coast, represented by Dr. Riad Al-Jarriri, to support the Centre and to facilitate ways of develop its services, as well as to the efforts and support of the World Bank.
