Mukalla Radio Station Highlights on the axes of The Fourth Scientific Conference of Hadhramout University

Mukalla Radio station hosted, Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban, Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Vice-Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Fourth Scientific Conference of the Hadhramout University. On its morning show live ”Good Morning”, the Hadhramout program was prepared and presented by media colleague Muhammad bin Sheikh Abu Bakr.

The role of humanities in achieving sustainable development is to be evaluated by the University at the end of this month over a two-day period from 24-25 July 2019 with the participation of a selection of researchers and academics at Hadhramout University and other Yemeni universities. The main axes to be discussed at the Fourth Scientific Conference in the Humanities include the focus on recent trends in humanities and sustainable development, as well as the axis of humanities and the achievement of a knowledge society covering four areas. In addition to the focus on the University’s role in the development of society, addressing its challenges and the social role of the University and encompassing a number of areas and scientific researches.

The 4th Scientific Conference aims to demonstrate the role of humanities in the development of the local community in pursuit of the knowledge society and highlight the research contributions of the University’s scientific centers and cadres in order to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development and motivate staff members, their assistants, and graduate students in the achievement of scientific research that contributes to the achievement of the University’s goal of serving the community.

The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research pointed out that The University is also preparing to hold the first International Conference on Computing and Smart Engineering which is the fifth scientific conference of the Hadhramout University to be held this year from 15-16 December 2019. A number of researchers from universities abroad will participate, which will be held under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
