The first consultative meeting was held at ITC center for the First International Conference committees on Science, Engineering and Technology which will be held in December 2020 between Hadhramout University and the Universiti Malaysia Perlis. It was organized by the two universities.
The meeting discussed the achievements of Hadhramout University in its education process and its next plan to promote the conference locally and regionally. Moreover, in the first consultative meeting, which was via video conference, Dr. Azremi Al-Hadi; Dean of the Computer and Communications Engineering College at UniMAP, spoke about the joint efforts exerted by the two universities to make the conference, giving a brief overview about the University and its various programs.
From his part, Dr. Mohammed Belhawisel; Dean of the Administrative Sciences college at Hadhramout University welcomed the actual partnership between the two universities, pointed out the specializations and colleges of Hadhramout University. During the meeting there were many extensive discussions by the attendees, the heads of the conference committees and the staff members of the two universities about the mechanisms used to manage the conference in light of the Corona pandemic, as well as holding the conference sessions electronically and promoting it. He appreciated the role played by the two universities in exchanging the experiences and the development of the joint work between HU and uniMAP.
The meeting was moderated from Yemen by Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud; General Director of Scientific Research at Hadhramout University, and from Malaysia by Dr. Samir Al-Buri; the university’s representative in Malaysia.
It was attended by: Dr. Bucklin Ikan; the specialist and Deputy Chairman of the conference, Dr. Noor Amina Ramli; the conference secretariat, Dr. Nour Fadhila Muharram, Dr. Vijaya Sar; the Technical Program and Publication Committee, and Dr. Salina Mohammed; the website management from uniMAP and from HU, Dr. Mohammed Al-Doh, Dr. Yasser Al-jahwari for the Promotion and Publicity Committee. In addition to Dr. Majdi Marei; the Conference Secretariat, and Dr. Raed Bathan; Dean of the Science College at Hadhramout University.
