Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud; General Director of Scientific Research at HU visited the office of the editor-in-chief of the Arab Chemistry Journal and a member of the Board Directors of the Saudi Chemical association, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wurthan Within the endeavors of the postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at HU and in the context of the sustainability of achieving the objectives of the International Publishing Award project funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development.
During the meeting, the experience of King Saud University in raising its global classification through the scientific research portal through the international publication of their published research and the organization of scientific conferences was discussed. The meeting also reviewed the mechanisms that were followed to raise the Arab Journal of Chemistry, which was issued within the framework of the Saudi Arabia Kingdom to an international classified magazine. It is worth mentioning that the Arab Journal of Chemistry, which is hosted by King Saud University, specializes in the topics of chemical engineering and chemistry sciences. It has been classified within the lists of the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI) with an impact factor of 2.969. The journal is issued in joint cooperation between the Saudi Chemical association and the Arab Chemists Union and is currently being published through the international scientific publishing house Elsevier.
