Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi; Deputy Prime Minister checked on the final preparations and arrangements for the convening of the first international conference on computing and smart engineering. It was organized by Hadhramout University from 15-16 December 2019 under the slogan (Towards smart solutions to develop and empower our society) under the generous patronage of the Prime Minister. During his meeting with the leadership of Hadhramout University headed by Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs, he reviewed the arrangements made by the university to hold the international conference in which researchers from inside and outside Yemen will participate. He noted that the university had completed the necessary preparations for the conference, as well as coordination With the competent authorities to facilitate the success of the conference activities. He called on the government to sponsor these conferences organized by Hadhramout University, which contribute to community service and development. Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi; Deputy Prime Minister expressed his readiness to cooperate with Hadhramout University by holding a meeting between the university presidency , businessmen and merchants in the Chamber of Commerce to support and sponsor such scientific conferences organized by Hadhramout University because of their importance in serving the community.
The meeting was attended by: Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani; Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban; Acting Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Salem Faraj Bamasoud; Vice President of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference, and Prof. Abdullah Alawi Aideed; general secretary of the University, and Professor Hussein Baslaib; General Director of the President’s Office.
