Scientific Research Administration
Encouraging scientific research in theoretical and applied scientific fields is one of the strategic objectives of Hadhramout University. Hence, the University’s vision is to be a leading educational institution in the field of scientific research that encourages innovation and creativity and builds a community based on science and knowledge to serve the sustainable development and to find appropriate solutions to community problems. Within the framework of the University’s efforts to achieve this vision, the General Administration of Scientific Research was established by the Law of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry, the Yemeni Universities Law and the University Council Resolution No. 97/2010 in 25/5/2010.
The General Administration of Scientific Research at the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research deanship is responsible for supporting and developing scientific research in the University. It supervises the activity of research, organizes the mechanisms of supporting the researches and states the policies and regulations governing them. It is also responsible for organizing, following up and facilitating the procedures to obtain financial support for the University staff members and their assistants for their researches from external supporting bodies through their annual program to support research projects, in addition to the technical supervision on the University Scientific Centers.

- To raise Hadhramout University to the high-ranking of Arab and regional universities through publishing researches in international magazines and periodicals of high prestige.

General Manager’s Message:
Within the framework of the university’s support for research activity by publishing scientific research in internationally indexed journals, which contributes as well as to raising the level and quality of scientific research at the university and improving the university’s global classification, and to achieve the goals that the university seeks and as a pioneering step to encourage scientific research and based on the directives of the president of the university and the decision of the Council of Graduate Studies and Research Scientific No. (9) in its fourth session, held on August 21, 2016, regarding encouraging the teaching and teaching staff to publish in the most prestigious journals and periodicals of international repute. To publish scientifically in international journals and periodicals by supporting researchers morally and financially and facilitating their tasks to achieve the desired scientific goals and to develop and advance the scientific process of the university to be one of the best Yemeni universities and to compete with the universities of the region on the Arab and international levels.
