English Language Department
English Language Department was established in 2003/2004, with a number of (64) male and female students, from Al-Mahra Governorate and other governorates as well as from Sultanate of Oman.

Objectives
- Preparing and qualifying teachers who are scientifically, skillfully and mentally qualified in their field of specialization.
- Preparing and qualifying educational teachers with the necessary manners in their field of work.
- Preparing teachers who speak fluently, able to deal with the problems of teaching language as a second language.
- Preparing a researcher specialized in linguistics, literature and researching the impact of the local language on teaching the Arabic language as well as contributing to enriching the contrastive linguistic side between Arabic and Mahari.
