Since the establishment of the Faculty , the Faculty Deanship and all its members have been keen on taking care of all aspects of the educational process, developing courses and learning resources, providing an appropriate learning environment for students, and adopting the quality principle of teaching and learning at an early stage. Furthermore, they have raised the slogan “Together towards Academic Accreditation”. They have finished the self-assessment study since 2013, and have presented all the related documents to the Academic Accreditation Council and Quality Assurance. However, they have not completed the procedures for obtaining academic accreditation because of the political circumstances that the country has been through and still suffers from. Even though we have proved that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is the first college in the Republic of Yemen that has applied for academic accreditation.
At last, we would like to thank all the administrators of HU Portal who have given us the opportunity to share the achievements of our college and what we are going to accomplish in the future. I wish you all the best.
