Dr. Samir Ba-Othman; Dean of Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty at Hadhramout University confirmed that these meetings held within the cooperation between Hadhramout University and Suez Canal University. It was established more than ten years ago within the programs of family medicine and medical education.
From his part, Dr. Ahmed Alsaqa; Dean of Community Medicine Faculty at Suez University also stressed on the cooperation between the two universities in various fields which meets the needs of the academic programs such as; postgraduate studies programs in Public Health and Family as well as the bachelor programs in political sciences.
He met with the Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty delegation from Hadhramout University on Sunday 25 September, 2022 at his office in Ismailia. During this visit, two sessions were held at Community Medicine and Family Medicine Departments. In the presence of Public Health professors such as; Dr. Yousef Waheeb, Dr. Khadija Dandesh, Prof. Hana Abbas; Head of Family Medicine Department and Dr. Musleh Ismael; Professor in family Medicine.
They reviewed the postgraduate studies programs in Public Health and Family Medicine at Hadhramout University and agreed in participating the professors of Suez Canal University in implementing the postgraduate studies programs at Hadhramout University. The professors will participate in examining the theses and dissertations as well as providing technical support to evaluate and develop the family medicine program at Hadhramout University. In addition they organized the process of contracting with the political sciences professors to meet the needs of the faculty.
This meeting was attended by Dr. Adnan Bakarman; Deputy Dean for students affairs, Prof. Abdullah Bin Ghoth; Head of the Community Medicine Department at Hadhramout University, Dr. Nader Najem; Deputy Dean for postgraduate studies affairs at Suez University and Dr. Aiman Ekram; Head of the Community Medicine Department at Suez Canal University.
