Dr. Samir Ba-Othman; Dean of Medicine and Health Science Faculty at Hadhramout University, and Prof. Alaa Attia, Dean of Medicine Faculty at Assiut University, discussed areas of joint cooperation in basic sciences and postgraduate studies in the field of public health. Dr. Samir Ba-Othman praised the excellent professors and accredited programs of the Medicine Faculty in Assiut.
From his part, Prof. Alaa Attia expressed his appreciation for the good scientific reputation of the Medicine Faculty at Hadhramout University and the communication between professors and delegated students. During the meeting, it was agreed to support Hadhramout University in the specializations of anatomy, physiology, and any specialties and developing a model For research consultations between the Departments of Community Medicine and Public Health for the Master’s and Ph.D. programs.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Abdullah bin Ghoth; Head of Community Medicine Department at Hadhramout University, Prof. Amani Omar Muhammad, Deputy Dean for Education and Student Affairs at Assiut University, and Prof. Mahmoud Raafat; Professor in Organ Functions at Assiut University and former lecturer at Hadhramout University.
On the honor of the delegation visit, Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, Acting President of Assiut University, gave Dr. Samir Ba-Othman; Dean of Medicine Faculty at Hadhramout University, the shield of Assiut University. This was occurred in the meeting that was held at the presidency of Assiut University where Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi confirmed their readiness to provide support to Hadhramout University.
On his side, Dr. Samir Ba-Othman expressed his appreciation for the role of Assiut University in developing the educational process in Hadhramout medicine, conveying the greetings of Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of Hadhramout University.
At the end of the meeting, He honored Prof. Ahmed Al-Minshawi with the university shield and its guide.
