In the presence of Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash; HU President, Education College Socotra Lunched the new academic year 2021-2022 in the new building after 21 year of tireless efforts of the University leadership with the response of Dr. Mueen Abdul Malik Saeed; The Prime Minister, and Prof. Tariq Salem Al-Akbri; representative of the Ministry of Education, Adding: “At Hadhramaut University, as we end two decades in which the College of Education Archipelago – Socotra has remained in rented buildings, we are today very proud of the great support of the local authority of Archipelago, to set up this new building of the College, which has 14 classrooms, a number of offices and a conference room”.
Also, HU president added, “in line with the launch of the new academic year at Education college Socotra at the new building, the University Council held a meeting at which it approved the introduction of the Computer and Mathematics Teacher Programme in the current academic year”. Also, he announced that the postgraduate studies and scientific research Department was in the preparing process to open master’s courses in scientific departments to which scientific and academic requirements were applicable.
For his part, Dr. Saad Amer, Dean of the college, expressed his appreciation for the efforts to completing this remarkable work made by the leadership of the University, represented by Professor Mohammed Saeed Khanbash. The Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Education and the Local Authority.
HU President was accompanied on his visit by Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban; Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdullah Alawi Aideed; Secretary-General of the University, and Mr. Hussein Abdullah Baslaib; General Director of the President’s Office.
