On Tuesday, the Big Hall of Administrative Sciences college held the preliminary qualifiers of the Holy Quran memorization & Radio broadcast narration. There were 30 students from various colleges in the categories of the Holy Quran memorization in Full, 20 Parts and 15 Parts. Dr. Faiz Mohammed Al Somahi, Committee Chairman, expressed his happiness of the excellence of broadcasting and memorization, while Mr. Yaser Hadi Bakair and Mr. Adbullah Rajab Basadeeq wished all the best to all participates.
The participating students competed to win the title of university announcer in its new edition.
At the same time, the seventh hall of the Arts Faculty at the university embraced for the second day in a row, a remarkable presence between male and female students of the university’s faculties in the preliminary qualifiers, in the field of radio broadcast narration. The judging panel consisted of Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair, Dr. Dua Salem Bawazir, and Mr. Aiman Salem Bahmaid.
There were many talents in radio broadcasting narration and the selection of the media material (press news, literary thought) in which the listener tasted the beauty of the voice, the good diction, the sobriety of the phrase, and the strength of the rhythm.
