Dr. Salem Aboud Ghanem described the preliminary rounds for Hadhramout University’s awards, which were launched yesterday at the Higher Studies Hall in the Administrative Sciences Faculty at Hadhramout University, coinciding with Hadhramout University’s thirtieth anniversary, as a renewed image of student activities.
The preliminary rounds for Hadhramout University’s Student Creativity Awards for this year, 2023, began yesterday, Sunday, March 5th, in the field of memorizing the Noble Hadith. A number of male and female students participated in the competition, in which the judging panel consists of Dr. Zain Muhammad Al-Aidrous as the chairman, and Dr. Ahmed Saqaf Al-Aidrous and Ms. Sawsan Aboud Baameran as members.
The preliminary rounds in memorizing the Holy Quran also took place, and the judging panel consisted of Dr. Muhammad Zuhoom Bajbar as the chairman, Mr. Yasser Hadi Bakair and Mr. Abdullah Rajab Basadiq as members.
Prof. Salem Muhammad Bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at the University, expressed his happiness with the participation of the university’s male and female students in various award fields and the level of competition that took place during the first two days of the preliminary rounds in the field of Quran memorization and the Noble Hadith. The preliminary rounds will continue tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7th, in the field of radio narration broadcasting, and will conclude on Wednesday, March 8th, in the field of singing.
It is worth mentioning that Ali Ahmed Bakatheer Hall will witness the final qualifiers for Hadhramout University’s Creativity Awards for this year on Sunday and Monday, March 12th-13th, at 9:00 am.
The launch was attended by Prof. Salem Muhammad Bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Salem Aboud Ghanem; Chairman of the University’s Student Creativity Awards Committee, Mr. Zaki Ahmed Baqwiqo; General Director of the Student Activities Department at the University, and committee members, Mr. Saeed Karama Al-Jareri and Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Jufri.
