Dean’s Message

_

In the name of Allah, prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the trustworthy, whom God sent to purify us and teach us the Quran and wisdom.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Hadhramout University is proud to be the leading college in the field of administrative sciences, not only in Hadhramout Governorate but also in the entire eastern region of the country. It is the main pillar on which similar colleges in most universities in the governorate and neighboring governorates rely, whether in terms of seeking assistance from its qualified staff or providing targeted advice aimed at advancing the educational process and improving its academic programs.

Despite all the frustrating factors surrounding us in the light of the ongoing civil war and deteriorating economic conditions, the issue of providing a distinguished and high-quality educational service to our students comes at the forefront of the college’s priorities, based on the college’s vision and mission stemming from the university’s vision and mission. It is centered in its essence on graduating a qualified and empowered cadre that meets the requirements of the labor market contributes to development processes in all its dimensions and serves the community.

Recently, the college has worked to establish a training and community service unit that provides training courses for students and graduates, as well as public and private sector units, to link the theoretical aspect with the practical application aspect. The college has also been keen to establish relationships with leading institutions and organizations in the governorate to provide training opportunities for students to acquire additional skills to help them achieve their goals of obtaining job opportunities according to their specializations.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences currently includes five undergraduate programs that are witnessing great interest, especially in accounting and business administration, and interest that we strive to strengthen in the financial and banking sciences, administrative information systems, and marketing. The college also currently offers two postgraduate programs, namely Master of Science in Business Administration and Financial and Banking Sciences, and the final touches are being put on launching a Master of Science program in Accounting, as well as preparations are underway to complete the documents for the Ph.D. program in Financial and Banking Sciences in preparation for its launch after approval by the university council.

We are confident that the turnout to the college will witness a significant increase when the war ends and peace returns to our homeland. Until then, which we hope will be soon, we will work sincerely to provide everything that will contribute to advancing the educational process and provide an appropriate environment for academic achievement.

And God is the One who grants success…
