The vision of the MIS program is one of the best programs that provide an exemplary studying environment that qualify the graduates.

Providing the best graduates to the labor market in managing information systems with knowledge and administrative and technical skills that they can use to serve national institutions and increase productivity in the era of digital organizations.

Objectives

  1. Providing the best graduates to the labor market in managing information systems with knowledge and administrative and technical skills that they can use to serve national institutions and increase productivity in the era of digital organizations.
  2. Upgrading and developing information systems in Yemeni business organizations and developing technical and commercial capabilities in them.
  3. Improving efficiency, raising the level of productivity, providing the possibility of studying and solving problems and helping in making decisions.
  4. Meeting the labor market’s need in the field of management information systems.

Requirements

The study plan for the Bachelor of  Management Information Systems program consists of 136 credit hours, which the student studies over eight semesters, distributed over three basic requirements indicated in the table below:

The program’s courses are coded with the symbol “Systems” which refers to the Department of Management Information Systems. The numbering consists of three numbers, each number symbolizing the following:

  • The first number (hundreds place) indicates the academic year, where number (1) refers to the academic year.
  • The second number (tens place) indicates the semester in which the course is taught, where number (1) refers to the first semester, and number (2) to the second semester.
  • The third number (ones place) indicates the order of the course in the semester according to the study plan.
