Design & Build a Questionnaire Course at the Academic Development Center

On Wednesday afternoon, a training course in designing and building a questionnaire began for the staff members, teaching assistants, and postgraduate students at Hadhramaut University. It lasts over two days in two halls for the first time at the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at Hadhramout University.

Dr. Khaled Al-Rubaki, Director of the Human Development Department at the University’s Centre for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, commended the guidance of Prof. Abdullah Eidhah Bahishwan, Director of the Centre for Academic Development and Quality Assurance to select quality courses for capacity and skills-building for staff members, assisting teaching bodies and postgraduate students to meet the goals of the Centre in quality and enhance the outcomes of the University.

He added that this course is part of the center’s activities to develop the skills and capabilities of staff members, teaching assistants, and postgraduate students, as it improves their practical skills, especially in the field of scientific research and writing in the correct scientific manner, particularly regarding the primary source of the questionnaire.

Dr. Mohammed Awadh Al-Raih Abdul Latif, Assistant Professor of Statistics at the College of Science and the trainer of the course described it as aiming to use data collection tools scientifically and systematically to maximize the benefit from the data used by the researcher in his study. The course will cover several topics and outcomes.

Dr. Shawqi Ahmed Ali Al-Duais, Assistant Professor of Measurement and Evaluation at the Education faculty and the trainer of the course, said that this course is important for researchers in writing the questionnaire, which is considered a crucial gateway to academic studies. He pointed out that this course is a training opportunity for the participants in their academic lives.
