Strategic Planning Unit is responsible for undertaking the following roles and responsibilities :

1. Disseminating a culture of quality among university affiliates.
2. Providing technical support to academic departments regarding continuous development, improvement, and the establishment of educational programs to achieve the intended learning outcomes.
3. Monitoring the preparation of program and course specifications in the faculty.
4. Preparing guideline manuals for quality implementation methods at the university.
5. Following up on the work of quality committees in the faculty and evaluating their effectiveness in implementing quality assurance mechanisms through the analysis and assessment of their periodic reports.
6. Proposing professional development programs for faculty members and teaching assistants in areas such as curriculum development, teaching methods, examinations, and scientific research.
7. Studying the educational environment and developing plans to enhance it in ways that motivate students and build their capabilities.
8. Establishing a database of quality assurance experts.
9. Monitoring and qualifying the quality assurance units/committees in the university’s faculty.
10. Following up on the implementation of quality standards in scientific laboratories and ensuring their compliance with standard specifications.
11. Preparing quarterly reports and submitting them to the center director.
12. Preparing the annual plan, monitoring its implementation, and submitting annual reports to the center director.
