The Lab of General and Organic Chemistry is one of the laboratories of the Chemical Engineering Department in which the students apply the theoretical aspect to practical through performing experiments, such as measuring density,  ratio of water in crystals, purity of barium chloride, empirical formula of magnesium oxide, crystallization, extraction, finding the relationship of size to temperature at pressure stabilization, and the calculation of the molecular mass of gasoline, analysis of solutions, titration of acids to bases, and other experiments. There are toxic and dangerous materials in the lab.

The Lab of Physical and Analytical Chemistry is one of the most important labs of the Department of Chemical Engineering. It includes the study of the practical application of the courses of physical chemistry and analytical chemistry, in which experiments are conducted such as statistical analysis, calculation of the total amount of water hardness, calculation of the total amount of chlorine in water,  titration of acids with bases, calculation of Mohr method,  finding acetic acid in vinegar, ion analysis, and other practical experiments

There are toxic  and danger substances in the laboratory must be taken care of and handled with caution.

The lab includes some devices such as: mass transfer, control devices of industrial processes, and heat transfer devices. Experiments that are conducted in the lab are the following: calculation of precipitation of solids, measurement and distribution of particles , heat and mass transfer, control functions.

The Fluid Mechanic Lab is one of the most important labs of the Department of Chemical Engineering in addition to Petroleum and Civil Engineering Departments. The lab includes a lot of equipment through which the students implement practical experiments such as  measuring the density and viscosity of oil derivatives, specific weight, pressure in pipes  and knowing the type of fluid flow in the pipes. The laboratory also contains equipment for the design of dams and the calculation of the amount of flow.

Oil Properties Properties of oil and its derivatives The lab contains a lot of equipment that are used in the field of oil, such as: Hydrometer which is used to measure the density and viscosity of oil derivatives (kerosene and glycerol), vapor pressure device to measure the pressure of light fluids (gasoline), degree of penetration device to identify the hardness of heavy materials(asphalt), the measure of the degree of flash (glow) and others.

The multimedia lab is one of the most important labs of the Chemical Engineering Department,  in which the students apply the theoretical side to practical through chemical simulation programs such as (CHEMCAD, Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, Polymath, Mat lab, C ++, Windows, Microsoft Office).
