The Student Activities Department of the Student Affairs Deputyship at the Engineering and Petroleum Faculty launched the student activities for the academic year 2023-2024 on Monday, November 20, 2023.
In the football league, the civil engineering and electronic engineering teams met at the Qutaf Alashiba stadium in Rukub on the afternoon of Monday, November 20, 2023. The civil engineering team won the match 2-0, with goals scored by players Abdullah Bajber and Yousef Humran. The match was refereed by Hani Bu Saleh.
On his part, Dr. Hisham Hadi Al-Baiti, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Student Affairs, expressed the Deanship thanks to Qetaf Company for hosting the football league events for the academic year 2023-2024.
The match was attended by Dr. Hisham Al-Baiti, Deputy Dean of the faculty for Student Affairs, Dr. Salem Khamis Bin Shamla, former head of the Civil Engineering Department, Mr. Fawzi Ali Al-Qamzany, a member of the league committee, and sports figures from the Shabab Rukub Club.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, the individual games competitions were held. In the first match in the chess game, students Al-Mundhir Al-Qafaili (third-level student in architecture) and Abdullah Al-Mualim (third-level student in electronics) met, and the result was a victory for student Abdullah Al-Mualim. In the second match, students Anas Bahdila (first-level student in computer) and Ahmed Al-Haiqi (third-level student in electronics) met, and the match ended with a victory for student Anas Bahdila.
In the table tennis game, in the first meeting, students Mohamed Ba Mohamed (first level in computer) and Abdullah Meqdad (first level in computer) met, and the match ended with a victory for student Abdullah Meqdad. In the second match, students Ahmed Salem (in petroleum ) and Ayman Bagoza (in computer) met, and the match resulted in a victory for student Ahmed Salem. The third meeting brought together the student Ibrahim bin Break (in civil engineering) with the student Abdullah Al Amri (second level in petroleum), and the match ended with a victory for the student Abdullah Al Amri.
In the billiard game, in the first meeting, students Osama Adel Al-Baiti (third level in electronic) and Mohamed Abdullah Ba Mohamed (first level in computer) met, and the match resulted in a victory for student Osama Adel Al-Baiti. The second meeting was between the students Abdullah Ahmed bin Mahmoud (third level in electronic) and Saeed Mohamed Al-Somhi (third level in electronic), and the match ended with a victory for the student Abdullah Ahmed bin Mahmoud.
The meetings were conducted by Mr. Hashim Taha Al-Saqqaf and Mr. Rushdi Fwadh Abdoun, under the supervision of Mr. Abdulqader Ahmed Ba Isa, Director of the Student Activities Department at the faculty.
