Female Students of the third class of the Scientific and Literary Department on a scientific visit to the Faculty of Engineering & Petroleum, on Thursday 25 January 2024, led by Ms. Majda Wakid, Deputy Director of the complex, Ms. Safa Bashahri, Deputy Director of the High School, and the teachers Ms. Mariam Baqraf, Ms. Misra Khawatar, Ms. Samia Ba-‘Amer, and Ms. Balqis Al-Kassady.
Mr. Zahir Mubarak Thoban, a Faculty Media Officer, and Ms. Fatima Mohammed Da-akik, a member of the Faculty’s laboratory body, received them.
Mr. Zahir Mubarak Thoban presented to female students a summary of the college, its divisions, and its admissions and study system, as it’s considered the nucleus of the university and the first college established on campus in Flke and characterized by its rare and only scientific departments in the Republic, such as the petroleum and chemical engineering departments, and the opening of the postgraduate program Master’s Course in Petroleum Engineering and Architecture Sciences.
Then taken the female students on an induction tour of the faculty’s buildings, and laboratories. They heard a brief explanation of the work of each laboratory and identification of the devices, machines, and pieces in which it operates as well as the practical application of the students.
At the end of the visit, the management of the complex thanked the Deanship of the Faculty for the opportunity to visit. They also thanked Mr. Thoban for accompanying them on this visit and for the information he provided on the faculty, university study, and information on the laboratories in which it.
