Launch of Vision 2030 to Develop The Chemical Engineering Department of The Faculty of Engineering and Pet.

In keeping with the vision, mission, and objectives of the department in establishing a sound scientific environment for academic work that drives lasting development and continuous growth and encourages openness to the data of the era, on Wednesday 14 February 2024. the launch of Vision 2030 in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum was launched.
With a blessed editorial, Prof. Salim Saleh Bamoumn, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a speech praising Vision 2030, which seeks to develop the chemical engineering department to hone the skills of graduate students and establish quality practical courses. Lastly, he stressed the need to implement that vision and to give full attention to the benefit of students.
The Deputy Dean for Quality Affairs and Community Service, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al-Sabai, spoke about the importance of specializing in chemical engineering and its wide range of areas, and that this vision will serve the department.

The Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Salmin Saad Al Shamli, pointed out the comparison of the chemical engineering department with other disciplines, which is one of the most important departments for the need for it at present.


The Head of Department, Dr. Badi Said Baqi, also delivered his speech on the launch of Vision 2030 and its positive impact on students and the preparation of graduates for the labor market and community service. He noted that this vision is based on three pillars: (We will seek to prepare graduates for the labor market, we will achieve educational quality standards, and we will develop the scientific research aspect), and is interspersed with the Chemical Engineer Supplement Software Package.
On the occasion of the launch of Vision 2030, the first of its programs was launched with a training course for third-level students on the basics of using the Matlab program, in addition to a field visit to the Company of Mukalla Iron and Steel for fourth-level students, and the activation of summer training for students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by faculty members of the Department of Chemical Engineering and students of the Department Director of Admission and Registration Professor Abubakar Faraj Ba ‘Amer and Director of Student Activities Department Professor Abdulkader Ba’aissa.
