Within Vision 2030 to develop the Chemical Engineering Department and upgrade it to higher levels and Rayyan-Mukalla competitions – under the supervision of the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr. Badeeh Ba-Bqi to view the factory of equipment, tools, and operating methods to benefit from it in scientific and practical aspects.
The students were received from the factory management represented by the General Manager of the factory, Dr. Ahmed Salem Ba-Ryan, Company Director, and Engineer Mahfouz Salem bin Hamid, Deputy Director, and Engineer Anis Al-Jaro, Head of the Quality Department.

During the visit, the students heard engineers and supervisors explain the mechanisms and functioning of the stations at different stages the process of fermentation of iron in water and its filtering, and how it is melted and formed. And know the ingredients and mixing ratios.

The end of the visit, the head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and students thanked the management of the company, engineers, and supervisors for allowing them to visit and to take advantage of the information given to them to link the theoretical aspect to the practical and applied aspect, and a certificate of appreciation was presented to the company’s director.
Also, during the meeting, the summer training program was activated for students at the fourth level, which is one of the objectives of Vision 2030.
