Dr. Amer Badr Bin Murdhah, Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum (CEP) in HU, met the delegation of Hadhramout Foundation for Invention and Advancement of Science (HFIS) headed by Eng. Fahad Abdullah Baashen, HFIS Director.
The meeting discussed the final arrangements and the readiness to inaugurate the opening of the House of Invention in the coming days, which will be the incubator for inventors in CEP, and that is within the framework of the cooperation between HU and HFIS.
HFIS Director pointed out that this comes within the outputs of the inventor program and University researcher for 2018, which targets the students of the University as a whole, including students of CEP and which implemented by the Foundation with funding of Al Awn Foundation for Development.
Dr. Amer Badr Bin Murdhah, Dean of CEP, expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Foundation, that comes within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the University and the Foundation for serving students. Moreover, he pointed out that the Deanship of the College will provide all necessary facilities for the House of invention, which will help to figure out the inventors amoung the students continuously.
