Dr. Amer Badr Bin Murdhah, Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum (CEP), met Eng. Fahad Abdullah Baashen, Director of Hadhramout Foundation for Invention and Advancement of Science (HFIS), to discuss the latest arrangement and preparations for opening the House of Invention in CEP. This discussion comes within the outcomes of the inventor program and the University researcher executed by HFIS and funded by Al Awn Foundation for Development to target the students of the University in general, and students of CEP in particular.
Dr. Amer Badr Bin Murdhah, Dean of CEP, expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Foundation to facilitate all necessary procedures through coordination with the relevant departments of the College and student associations. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Foundation for their cooperation and selection of CEP to be the College of creators and inventors from HU students.
Eng. Fahad Abdullah Baashen, HFIS Director, pointed out that the idea of establishing the Invention House at CEP comes within the agreement of cooperation and partnership signed by the Foundation and Prof. Saeed Mohammed Khanabash, HU Rector, in order to preparing for the official opening of the Invention House in the coming days.
