Under the patronage of the Petroleum Engineering department, Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum – Hadhramout University, the Scientific Society of the Petroleum Engineering Department held a welcoming ceremony for first-level students (the twenty-third batch) of the department’s students for the academic year 2018-2019 on Monday 19/11/2018 in the conference hall of the faculty and honoring the top students in the department for the academic year Last 2017-2018.
The ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the society’s speech was delivered by the student Ahmed Barakat Bawazeer; head of the society, welcoming the Dean of the Faculty, the President and staff members of the Petroleum Engineering Department, as well as welcoming the first-level students, the 23rd batch of the department’s students, expressing their happiness at the enrollment of a new batch of The future youth of the Petroleum Engineering Department, urging the students to earnestly, diligence, academic achievement and make the most of the available capabilities and services provided by the faculty to students. At the conclusion of his speech, he thanked the Deanship of the Faculty and the department’s presidency for overcoming all difficulties in making this ceremony a success.
The Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Dr. Salem Obaid Baarama, gave a welcoming speech to the first-level students, batch (23) once again, congratulating the students in the 2018-2019 academic year, urging the faculty and students of the department to make more efforts to improve the educational process in the department and the faculty in general.
At the end of the ceremony, the top students in the department were honored for the past academic year 2017-2018.
