The Dean of Engineering and Petroleum faculty at Hadhramout University Dr. Amer Badr bin Murdah, inaugurated the first edition of the Tamkeen Program, which was held by the Society of Electronic and Communications Engineering for Students. During the inauguration ceremony, the Dean of Engineering and Petroleum faculty stressed the need to activate the role of student society to establish such programs and activities because of their importance in creating a scientific and competitive environment among students, highlighting their creative abilities and providing them with practical experiences that qualify them to the labor market. He stressed that the Deanship will be a supportive aid to societies to facilitate the implementation of the various activities and programs that serve the students and develop the educational process of the college, thanking the Society of Electronic and Communications Engineering for their efforts in seeking to establish this training program for students in the department.
For his part, the chairman of the society presented an overview of the program, courses and training workshops that was included to qualify the students of Electronic and Communications Engineering department,. He confirmed that the society seeks to serve the department’s students in the faculty by establishing such programs that raise the capabilities of university students in various fields.
After that, the Dean of the Faculty and his company toured the laboratories and training workshops for the implementation of the program and reviewed the equipment and work program of the society.
It should be noted that the Society of Electronic and Communications Engineering started the first work of the Tamkeen 1 program with a training workshop on (CCTV systems), which targeted fifth-level students from the department, under the generous sponsorship of Al-Ameen Business Solutions.
