Dr. Amer Badr Bin Murdah,;Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum, received Mr. Salem Ali bin Zaqr; the cultural activity official, and Mrs. Maryam Suleiman Bamqna; the female cultural activity official on Thursday morning 15/11/2018 in the university’s general administration for cultural activities.
The Dean welcomed the university’s cultural activity officials, explaining the faculty’s keenness to implement all cultural, sports and scientific activities for students as it is an alternative to the educational process.
The implementation of the monthly cultural awareness lectures program for the second semester of the current academic year 2018/2019 was discussed.
For his part, Mr. Salem thanked the Dean of the Faculty for the good reception and the efforts made by the Deanship of the Faculty towards the educational process in the Faculty.
Mrs. Maryam Bamqna also praised the role played by the Dean of the Faculty in paying attention to the activities of female students.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdel-Qader Ahmed Ba-Issa; the responsible for the activities of the faculty, and the engineer, Maha Aboulan; the responsible for the women’s activities at the faculty.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum is the largest faculty of Hadhramout University, with an estimated number of students enrolled in it to more than 2500 male and female students.
