Dr. Amer Badr bin Mardah, Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Hadhramaut University met in his office with Eng. Fahd Abdullah Baeshen, President of the Hadhramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement. During the meeting, they discussed the recent arrangements and preparations for the opening of the House of Invention in the college within the framework of cooperation and partnership between the university and the institution, as part of the outputs of the University’s Inventor and Researcher Program Which is implemented by the Hadhramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement for students of Hadhramaut University, with funding from the Al-Awn Foundation for Development, with the aim of discovering the creators and inventors of the students of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, developing their skills and abilities, and developing their scientific perceptions by activating specialized training and qualification courses for students in various applied and practical fields.
In turn, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum at the University of Hadhramaut expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Hadhramaut Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement and to facilitate all necessary procedures through coordination with the relevant departments of the college and student associations to serve the students and benefit from the programs and training courses that will be supervised by the Foundation, thanking the Foundation for their cooperation and selection of the College of Engineering And petroleum to be an incubator for creators and inventors from college and university students.
Engineer / Fahd Abdullah Baeshen, President of the Hadhramaut Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement, visited the electronic workshop, which will be the invention house in the college, during which he was acquainted with the equipment, equipment and tools contained in the electronic workshop, as well as coordination with the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering for the purpose of benefiting from these equipment, equipment and tools and using them in the programs and qualifying courses For students in the house of invention during the coming period.
For his part, the President of the Hadhramaut Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement indicated that the idea of establishing the House of Invention at the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at the University of Hadhramaut comes within the cooperation and partnership agreement signed by the Foundation with the Presidency of the University.
