The Society of Electronic and Communications Engineering at faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at Hadhramout University, in cooperation and partnership with the Hadhramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement, organized within “Tamkeen 2” program a training workshop in the field of solar energy systems for fourth-level students, presented by trainer Abdulrahman Bin Harhara.
The participants received a number of skills and information in the field of the solar energy system, its components and its mechanism , as it has become important in recent times. In addition to introducing them to the components of the solar cell and how to convert light energy into electricity, and introducing them to the importance of using solar energy in the saving process as it has become important in life due to the weakness of local electricity.
The Students did practical work to know how to link and use it correctly so that it was more feasible and longer term.
It is worth noting that these training courses and workshops came within the plan of the Society of Electronic and Communications Engineering in the Tamkeen 2 program to enhance the academic and applied process at the faculty, link the theoretical side with the practical side. In addition to, developing students’ capabilities in their field of specialization within the activities of the House of Invention, which was supervised by Hadhramout Foundation for Invention and Scientific Advancement in cooperation with the Deanship of Faculty.
