Under the patronage of Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani; Governor of Hadhramout & Commander of the 2nd Military Region, the Student Scientific Association of Computer Engineering Department (CED) organized the Annual Scientific Exhibition of Student Projects 2019 – 2020 in cooperation with IEEE Yemen.
On Sunday morning 17th November 2019, Brigadier General Awydhan Salem Awydhan, Staff Officer of the 2nd Military Region, together with Colonel Dr. Saleh Nasser Al-Tamimi, Deputy Director of Police Faculty for Education Affairs, and Dr. Amer Bader Bin Murdhah, Dean of Engineering & Petroleum Faculty, inaugurated the exhibition and visited all the sections of the exhibition.
The exhibition aimed to highlight the student’s skills and to introduce the importance of Computer Engineering in community development. It is worth mentioning that the exhibition was within the open day events held and supervised by CED and coincided with other entertaining student activities such as the corners of information, drawing, calligraphy and photography.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Fahd Saleh Jawhar; Depty Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Saeed Mohammed Banaimoon; Head of Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Mazen Abdullah Baheshwan; Vice President of IEEE Yemen Branch, and a number of staff members and their assistants.
