The General Student Union of Hadhramout University held student elections in the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Amer Badr bin Murdah, his deputies, and representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor office. The faculty was divided into four electoral centers, one of which was for female students. The electoral process took place with the interaction of students and student committees. The student election witnessed good attendance by male and female students to elect representatives for student councils and the General Union of University Students
Approximately 2,500 male and female students in six scientific specializations attended these student elections in the faculty through secret ballot boxes.
The voting process was attended by Dr. Salem Mohammed bin Salman; head of the committee supervising the elections.
