The Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Fahd Saleh Jawhar, along with the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saeed Ali bin Ajaj, inaugurated the charitable event that was set up by the Activities Department on Monday 18/3/2019, in cooperation with the Student Council at the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum – Hadhramout University and sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty.
The two deputies and their company toured the event’s pavilions, which consisted of the arts corner, the folklore corner, the Arabic and Japanese calligraphy corner, the drawing corner, the photo gallery, the charitable dish corner, and the popular games corner (Karim and Domna).
For his part, the Deputy Dean praised the efforts of the organizers of the event that link the past with the present and the future through what was presented of the popular heritage. While the student council and the students organizing the event thanked the Dean of the Faculty for their support in organizing this event.
The event was attended by Dr. Salem Ba-Arma; Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Professor Sheikh Al-Nakhb;, Secretary of the Faculty, some staff members and directors of departments in the faculty.
It is worth noting that a quarter of the charitable dish was a charity to the soul of the deceased student Salem Qahtan Bashrahil, fourth level of architecture, who passed away last week, may God bless him with his vast mercy and dwell in his vast gardens and inspire his family and relatives’ patience and solace. We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
