A lecture was held on Monday 18/3/2019 entitled (corrosion treatment in pipes) presented by Eng. Mohammed Hussein Bafadil. It was held within the activities of the Alumni Club at HU; the vocational guidance program and in cooperation with the Chemical Engineering Society.
During the lecture, Eng. Mohammed discussed the types of corrosion that occur in pipe in the oil and gas sectors and how to treat them using sound and modern methods.
At the conclusion of the lecture, Dr. Mounir Ba-Abbad, a staff member in the Department of Chemical Engineering, thanked the Alumni Club, the Chemical Engineering Society, and the lecturer, Eng. Mohammed Bafadil, for implementing such these activities for the students.
The lecture was attended by Eng. Saeed Barian; the club’s director of programs and projects, Mr. Tariq Belkhasher; the club’s coordinator at the faculty, Eng. Fatima Daakik, and the student Mohammed Al-Asrani; the head of the Chemical Engineering Society.
