In cooperation with the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE), the Chemical Engineering Society of Engineering and Petroleum faculty at Hadhramout University held an introductory symposium on IAESTE at the Conference Hall of the faculty.

During the symposium, Chairman of IAESTE Branch in Yemen, Dr. Khalid Badukhen, gave an introductory overview of IAESTE, its objectives, the importance of being a member of IAESTE, and how this membership opens broad prospects for HU students, which raises the educational level of the University.

From his part, Dr. Abdulqader Bayazid; Deputy Dean of the Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty  pointed out the great surprise of this meeting that Hadhramout University obtained more than 17 training grants for its students, explaining that Engineering and Petroleum faculty had the largest share of these grants. He confirmed that obtaining these grants was through the efforts of the Association branch In Yemen, Dr. Abdulqader Bayazid who worked hard – during the international conference of the association – to obtain these grants and greater opportunities in the future.

The attending students expressed their thanks and gratitude to the members of the association for their efforts in serving the university students. The symposium was attended by Dr. Majdi Salem Marei; the representative of the association at the faculty, and the student Ahmed Omar Bin Ishaq; Head of the Chemical Engineering Society.
