On Thursday morning, March 17, 2022, the faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at Hadhramout University hosted the delegation of ELA students, led by the Director of the Academy, Prof. Muhammad Sadiq Bamadhaj, and the professors, Muhammad Ramadani, Harun, Salem Hanem, and Maana Ahmed Eleiwa.
They were welcomed by Prof. Khalid Muhammad Basaleh; Secretary-General of the faculty, and the engineers Khalid Ali Bahaj; Director of Laboratories Department, Zaher Mubarak Thawban; Media Supervisor in the faculty, and Muhammad Hassan bin Hawlah; a member of the faculty’s Laboratory Authority.
At the beginning of the visit, Eng. Khalid gave an overview of the faculty and its departments, the system of admission, as it is the nucleus of the university, and the first faculty that was established on the university campus in Fluk, and is characterized by its rare scientific departments at the level of the Republic, such as the petroleum and chemical engineering departments.
After that students were taken on an introductory tour of the faculty’s buildings, laboratories. They listened to a brief explanation of the work of each laboratory, and got acquainted with the devices, machines and the equipment that are used, as well as the practical work of the students.
At the end of the visit, the students of Al-Shahr English Language Academy thanked the Deanship and Secretariat of the Engineering and Petroleum faculty for providing the opportunity for this visit. They also thanked the engineers Khalid Ali Bahaj, Zaher Mubarak Thawban, and Muhammad Hassan bin Hawlah for accompanying them on this visit, and for the additional information they provided about the faculty
