The Architectural Association holds a reception for first-level students and the creative exhibition

Sponsored by the Deanship of the faculty of Engineering and Petroleum, and under the supervision of the faculty Student Activities Committee and the Department of Architecture and Environmental Planning; The Architects Association held a reception for first-level students on Tuesday morning, November 8.

At the ceremony that was held in the conference hall, Dr. Mansour bin Thabet, Head of the Department of Architecture and Environmental Planning, welcomed the new students, congratulating them on their admission to the faculty, providing them with some directions and guidance, and urging them to make efforts and perseverance to achieve honorable results.

In addition, the head of the Architectural Association, student Ali Al-Jabri, welcomed the students, and introduced them to the activities and events held by the scientific societies in the faculty, expressing his great happiness at receiving this group of future engineers.

On the other hand, on the sidelines of the ceremony, a creative exhibition was held in the building of the Department of Architectural Engineering, which included several corners, including:

_ Software and hardware corner

– Civilizations Corner

_ Corner of mud architecture

– Corner (don’t make my mistake)

– calligraphy corner

– The introductory corner

– Technical corner

The exhibition included many architectural works and beautiful details, which made students appear in the most beautiful manner, and won the approval of all visitors.
