On Monday 5/12/2022, Deanship of Engineering and Petroleum faculty inaugurated the elections of the student council in the presence of the representative of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor.
Prof. Salem Saleh Bamumam, faculty dean urged the honorable competition among the candidates, and called on students to choose their representatives in the student council.
More than a thousand five hundred male and female students make their votes in the voting process to elect and choose the members of the student council in the faculty, and delegates of the General Conference of the Student Union at the University.
The elections was attended by Prof. Ahmed Mubarak Al -Sibai, Deputy Dean for Quality and Community Service, Dr. Hisham Hadi Al -Bayti, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Salem Khamis bin Shamla, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Khaled Sahl bin Ishaq, Head of the Department of Electronic Engineering and Communications, and Professor Omar Khamis Omar Hadi, Secretary -General of the faculty, and the student Salem bin Talib, head of the supervisory committee for the elections in the faculty .
