Prof. Salem Saleh Bamomen; Dean of Engineering and Petroleum Faculty – Hadhramout University, met on Monday morning the second of January 2023 with Hadhramout Investment Power Company LTD. (Bajarish Company), represented by Eng. Saeed Bahakeem; Station Manager and Eng. Mohsen Al-Amoudi; Maintenance Manager
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed his guests, expressing his thanks and gratitude to the leadership of the company and the Power station for their cooperation in training students during the summer vacation as part of the training program for students in the faculty, in addition to cooperating in the organization of the visits for students to the station to link the practical side with the theoretical side.
From his part, the director of the company praised the role played by the Engineering and Petroleum Faculty in presenting its mission in preparing successful engineers to the labor market to keep abreast with developments and technology as well as the community service.
At the end of the meeting, they agreed to create a protocol between the faculty and the company to organize and coordinate field visits and training programs for students, as well as benefit from students’ graduation projects.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Ahmed Mubarak Al-Sibai; Deputy Dean for Quality and Community Service Affairs, Dr. Salmeen Saad Al-Shamali; Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Omar Khamis Omar Hadi; General Secretary of the faculty.
