The Academic Affairs Office is one of the sectors of the University Presidency (UP). It currently includes the following administrations and centers:

1. Academic Development & Quality Assurance Center (ADCQA).
2. Information Technology Center (ITC ).
3. General Administration of the University President’s Deputy Office for Academic Affairs.
4. General Administration for Faculty & Assistants Affairs.
5. General Administration for Libraries, Authorship, Translation and Publication.
6. General Administration for Laboratories.

The Academic Office also heads the Academic Council, which is one of the advisory councils of the University Council. Articles No. (17 / 18) of the Executive Regulation of the Yemeni Universities Law stipulate the formation of the Council and its tasks.
