Under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, and the presence of all members of the University Council, the Council held its first regular session of the academic year 2019/2020, in which they approved a number of scientific promotions for the academic faculty staff members as follows:
1. Academics have been promoted to professors:
- Fawzia Faraj Bamatraf.
- Abdullah Saleh Abdullah Al-Yamani.
- Ghazwan Abdul Hamid Sheikh Al-Souq.
- Hadi Salem Omar Al-Sabban.
- Hassan Obaid Abdullah Al-Fadhli.
2. Academics have been promoted to associate professors:
- Abeer Mohamed Abdullah bin Thalab.
- Adel Karama Salem Meili.
- Hani Salmeen Omar Belafir.
- Omar Abdullah Ahmed Mahrous.
- Saeed Faraj Khamis Al-Ramadi.
3. Academics have been promoted to assistant professors:
- Abdullah Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Aidarous.
- Abdo Abdulkarim Abdullah Mohamed Maqboul.
- Waleed Ahmed Saleh Al-Attas.
