" we are grateful to the scientific movement at Arts college which is in the field of access to academic accreditation in University programs, Without the compelling circumstances, Hadhramaut University would have gone a long way in the academic accreditation of a number of its programs in various colleges…With these words, Prof. Abdulla Saleh Babair opened a workshop discussing the development of the PhD. programme in English of business communication at the Centre for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, in the presence of the Dean of Arts college, Prof. Mohammed Awad Barshid, his deputies, A number of faculty members in the department and a number of representatives from the departments of industry and commerce, the Chamber of Commerce, banks and businessmen.

This qualitative programme, the first at the university level in Hadhramaut, it is consistent with the goals of the University to develop society and contribute to charting a new horizon for accelerated life towards universal participation and world continuity in various fields of life.

Prof. Khaled Belkhasher, representing the head of the Department, considered the first programme to be an advanced scientific step at the Hadhramout University to achieve the pursuit of the Bachelor's degree. (English for business communication) and  working to have an effective program that will create outputs that meet the needs of society and the labor market.

Dr. Atef Al-Tamimi, the Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, said that this program is part of the college’s mission, which seeks with a scientific strategy and methodology to provide education with high-quality professional programs.

Prof. Hassan Obaid Al-Fadli, of the Workshop confirmed that the holding of the Workshop is aimed at identifying the need for the current reality of this type of programme in line with the requirements of the times by using the programmes of distinguished universities and by engaging the holders of expertise and fields involved in strengthening and promoting the objectives and outputs of the Programme.

The workshop was one of the stations of the University of Hadhramaut, which has been at the forefront of the modernization of its scientific academic programmes and is moving towards the opening of new horizons and programmes that will keep pace with the times and open new horizons for its students in a renewed and impressive manner.
