Continuing Scientific Activities for the 2nd Course of Oncology Nursing & Chemotherapy

Within the program of continuing education and scientific activity of the National Oncology Center/ Hadhramout – Mukalla, and in cooperation with the Nursing Colleg\HU, Taybah Foundation for Development ,and Nursing College graduates ,batch 11,third  group, prepared  and presented by  Prof. Lotfi Fouad Al-Soumani, Oncology and Chemotherapy Nurse – Technical Director of Oncology Center / Hadhramout Mukalla: The scientific activities of the second oncology nursing and chemotherapy course continue at the National Oncology Center to gain sufficient experience and skills for a group of graduates of the Nursing College and Health Institutes in the field of oncology nursing and chemotherapy.

 

During the opening of the course, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hanashi, Deputy Dean of Nursing College/HU pointed out the importance of these courses in light of the remarkable increase in cancer cases and the community’s need for qualified nurses in the field of oncology nursing and chemotherapy to combat this increasing disease day after day, and urged participants to make the most of the training and to continue practical application and field training to further refine skills and provide better services to this segment of society.

 

There is still a need to rehabilitate and train health personnel with high capabilities in the field of cancer control and treatment, by sending them to prestigious model cancer centers to refine their skills and experiences, and to obtain higher degrees and official licenses to practice their profession efficiently and efficiently.
