A group of staff members at Nursing faculty participated in the workshop that is currently being held in Jordan on academic accreditation standards in administrative sciences and nursing,. Dr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Hanashi; Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Yahya Khamis Al-Moallem; Deputy Dean of the faculty, Prof. Nawal Saeed Banafa, Dr. Abdullah Mubarak Kaiti, and Dr. Haddad Al-Habashi were participated in this workshop in addition to the staff of the Academic Development and Quality assurance Center at the university, Dr. Warda Al-Mohammadi, and Dr. Salem Bal-Wadi via video conference ”Zoom”.
This workshop occurred as a complement of the previous workshop that was held in the last period. The workshop deals with the necessary advanced steps to qualify the faculties of Business Administration and Nursing within the following nine axes; Strategic planning, resources (material, virtual, and financial), staff members, employees, curriculum, education assurance accreditation, student development, teaching effectiveness and impact, impact of scholarships, community participation. As this workshop will give an impetus to accelerate the characterization of academic programs in these faculties towards national and even international academic accreditation. It is worth mentioning that this workshop will last for two days with the support and encouragement of the university leadership.
