Quality Assurance Unit is responsible for undertaking the following roles and responsibilities :

1. Promoting a culture of quality among university members.
2. Providing technical support to academic departments in areas of continuous development, improvement, and the creation of academic programs to achieve targeted learning outcomes.
3. Monitoring the preparation of program and course specifications across faculties.
4. Developing guidelines for implementing quality assurance practices within the university.
5. Monitoring the activities of quality committees in faculties and evaluating their effectiveness in implementing quality assurance mechanisms through the analysis of their periodic reports.
6. Proposing professional development programs for faculty and teaching assistants in areas such as curriculum development, teaching methods, examinations, and scientific research.
7. Studying the educational environment and developing plans to enhance it in ways that motivate students and foster their skills and capabilities.
8. Establishing a pool of experts in quality assurance.
9. Monitoring and supporting quality assurance units/committees in university faculties.
10. Ensuring the application of quality standards in scientific laboratories and verifying their compliance with standard specifications.
11. Preparing quarterly reports and submitting them to the Center Director.
12. Developing the annual plan, monitoring its implementation, and submitting annual reports to the Center Director.
