A Training Course Entitled Courses Descriptions

The Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at Hadhramout University held a training course for staff members and their assistants at the Faculty of Arts. It is organized as part of the Academic Development Programs implemented by the Academic Development Center and funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development. It was presented by Dr. Salem Mohammed Bafqeer.

During the opening session of the course, Dr. Abdullah Saleh Babair, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized that the Faculty of Arts is taking a good step in the course description. He explained that this course has an impact on describing academic programs and the outcomes of the faculties. He also pointed out that these courses should keep pace with the development of programs aimed at developing academic templates that lead to the desired quality to achieve academic accreditation for all specializations and faculties at the university.

Participants in the course received training on several key topics related to the course description, including writing course components, study plans, teaching strategies, writing final learning outcomes, and other topics related to describing courses for various specializations in the university’s faculties.

The course was attended by Dr. Abdullah Eidah Bahishwan, the Director of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Mohammed Barshaid, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Abbas Bafaraj, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Khaled bin Makhashen, the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Hussein Albar, the Deputy Dean for Quality Affairs and heads of scientific departments, staff members, and their assistants at the Faculty of Arts.
