Abstract

This study aims to identify the importance of regulating training loads for football coaches, the contribution of load regulation to reducing player injuries, and the relationship between regulating training load and injury recurrence among football players. The researcher used a descriptive survey methodology, deemed suitable for the nature of the research. The study sample consisted of (18) football coaches from the coastal region of Hadhramaut Governorate, selected purposively. The most important findings include: coaches demonstrate a good awareness of the importance of regulating training loads; a balanced training system and rest contribute to reducing injuries; there is a clear understanding that inadequate load regulation leads to injury recurrence; and coaches require additional training in the area of load regulation. The researcher recommends: the necessity of training coaches in load regulation and considering individual differences among players; providing medical and rehabilitation support within clubs to reduce injury recurrence; and establishing an injury monitoring and documentation system to contribute to modifying training programs.
