The President of HU, Prof Muhammad Saeed Khanbash, inaugurated on Thursday morning, April 4, 2019, seven student centers and clubs that come as a continuation of the activities of the university student week, where he announced the start of work in the following clubs and centers:
1- AISTI Organization Center, HU.
2- The National Society of Medical Students – Yemen NAMS.
3- Alumni Club of HU.
4- HU Students Club for Photography and Filmmaking.
5- Political Forum for HU Students.
6- Information Technology Club for HU Students.
7- Entrepreneurs Club at HU.
The President of the University, Prof Muhammad Saeed Khanbash, said in his speech that these clubs are a bridge to society, through which the student can, after graduation, integrate and deepen the problems of society and contribute to solving them, and that these clubs and centers serve as a window of minds towards the local, regional and international community, and they have proven their ability To present Hadhramaut students in the best way in international forums, noting that the university presidency will not skimp on material and moral support for all its students, facilitating procedures and overcoming difficulties in front of these centers and clubs.In the same context, the Deputy President of the University for Student Affairs, Prof Salem Mubarak Al-Abthani praised the efforts of these centers and clubs, some of which have become an integrated company capable of competition in the labor market, explaining that the university leadership is ready to provide full and unlimited support to the students’ efforts and creative ideas to reach them to achieve their goals. All forums. the representative of the student centers and clubs / Khaled Ahmed Badakhun indicated that the centers, clubs and events will constitute a new tributary of student work at the university, and how HU has won the honor of obtaining Yemen’s membership in many international centers and organizations; It is characterized by the harmony and interdependence between the leadership of the university and its students, directing an invitation to civil society organizations in Hadhramaut to extend a helping hand to the emerging student entities in order to serve the university and the community.
The ceremony was attended by a number of colleges’ deans and their deputies, heads of departments, the university’s faculty, and a number of students, members of the clubs and centers that were inaugurated.
