He stressed that the eighth university student week has turned into a student festival in all fields, pointing out that HU has reached a better level than other universities, thanking the deputy Deans of Student Affairs, the deans of colleges and their deputies, the heads of the main committees of the university student week and the students who contributed to the success of the activities of the eighth university student week for this year 2019 . Prof Salem Mubarak Al-Abthani, deputy President for Student Affairs, indicated that the student, scientific, cultural, creative and sports festival highlighted the creativity, energies and capabilities of HU students and witnessed a great interaction from all segments of society in the governorate, pointing out that the activities of the university student week were supported by the presidency of the university His success was due to the efforts of the students The participants and contributors, as well as the deans of the colleges and their deputies, said that HU is one of the most active Yemeni University, stressing that the Student Affairs Prosecution has achieved many successes that have brought the university to international forums and external participation. He called on all male and female students in the various colleges of the university who did not participate in this year 2019 to be among the participants in the ninth university student week for the year 2020.
The ceremony included a chant and a poem presented by the students who won the first places in the university vocalist and university poet competitions, which won the admiration and approval of the audience.
At the conclusion of the honoring ceremony, the President of HU, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash, the Deputy President for Student Affairs, Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Awbthany, and the heads of the main committees of the University Student Week honored the male and female students who won first places in the competitions of university awards, sports competitions, the fourth scientific conference, the winning colleges in the scientific exhibition, as well as the contributors to the success of the activities of the eighth university student week and the delivery of certificates of appreciation on the occasion.
